IT Integration Companies in London: 1,100+ Active Firms (2026)
IT integration companies in London connect software, data, infrastructure and cloud platforms for organisations across the capital.
Buying centres tend to sit with CIO, operations, finance transformation and security teams rather than a single software owner. London integrators are usually brought in when established organisations need applications to exchange data cleanly, cloud estates to be migrated without disrupting live services, or managed environments to be kept supportable after implementation. The commercial pattern is project-led consultancy followed by support retainers, with buyers skewing towards mid-market and enterprise organisations. Professional services, regulated sectors, public sector bodies and technology companies all appear in the addressable base, so evidence of delivery governance often matters as much as engineering depth.
London has 1,123 actively trading IT integration companies, giving researchers a sizeable but not diffuse local supplier base. Reported employment across the cohort is 3,715 staff, and all 119 firms with headcount coverage report some employment. The shape is consistent with an implementation-heavy market: many firms are likely to be consultancy-led rather than product-led, with capacity concentrated in delivery teams, service desks, project management and account support. For buyers, the practical distinction is less about local availability and more about which providers can sustain governance across enterprise estates.
Procurement and assurance requirements are often set by the customer rather than by an industry-specific regulator. Providers serving regulated clients, public sector bodies and professional-services buyers tend to face supplier due diligence, security questionnaires, change-control evidence and audit trails before work moves beyond scoping. Market structure is mixed: 103 London integrators report turnover above £5M, while many others remain specialist consultancies or support-led operators. That creates a tiered buying market, with larger revenue bands better placed for multi-site delivery and smaller firms competing on platform focus, sector knowledge or responsiveness.
Demand appears likely to follow the shape of enterprise IT estates rather than a particular technology cycle. Buyers keep adding cloud services, legacy applications and security controls, which tends to create integration work even when discretionary software budgets tighten. The scarcer operators are likely to be those that can combine architecture, migration, support and governance within the same commercial relationship. Smaller consultancies may remain viable where they own a narrow platform specialism, but consolidation pressure should persist where buyers prefer shorter supplier rosters and clearer accountability for live environments.

Key facts
About 9% of the trading cohort reports turnover above £5M (103 of 1,123 firms) — the rest sits below that revenue band.
9% of the cohort was incorporated since 2022 (112 firms), so a sizeable share is in its first few filing cycles.
Systems integrators connect software, data, infrastructure and cloud platforms that would otherwise sit across separate operational stacks.
Buying patterns tend to combine project delivery with support retainers, particularly around cloud migrations and application rollouts.
The segment is services-led, with consultancies, implementation partners and managed-service providers competing around delivery capacity rather than product ownership.
Headcount can be a weak scale marker in integration work, where revenue may reflect project delivery, subcontracting and platform migration costs as well as permanent staff.

How London IT integration companies work and how to sell to them
What they do
London IT integrators usually earn revenue from advisory scoping, implementation projects, migration work, licence resale and recurring managed support. A typical engagement starts with discovery or architecture review, then moves into a statement of work priced on fixed-fee milestones, day rates or blended delivery teams. Retainers cover monitoring, incident response, minor change and service management once the new environment is live. The service shape is mostly people-led: architects, integration engineers, project managers and support analysts combine packaged software, cloud infrastructure and bespoke connectors. Gross margin therefore depends on utilisation, contractor mix, change control and the ability to convert one-off work into account-led support.
Who they sell to
Most sell to mid-market and enterprise buyers with fragmented application estates, audit obligations or recent cloud migration commitments. The sponsor is often a CIO, CTO, COO, CISO, finance transformation lead or programme director, with procurement and legal teams joining once scope and risk become clearer. New work is commonly won through referrals, incumbent account expansion, partner channels, public-sector procurement routes or direct bids against a defined statement of work. Sales cycles are rarely pure self-serve; even smaller projects tend to require technical workshops, security review and evidence of delivery method before commercial approval.
What they buy
Most IT integration firms tend to spend where delivery quality, utilisation and assurance affect margin. Useful categories include professional-services automation, CRM, proposal management, resource planning, project accounting, time recording, billing, revenue recognition and customer support tooling. Delivery teams may also buy test automation, monitoring, observability, identity management, security assessment, endpoint management, cloud cost control and documentation systems. People costs make recruitment, contractor management, technical training and HR operations recurring needs, particularly where skills shortages affect project delivery. Firms bidding into larger customers may also need legal support, insurance advice, compliance consultancy, accreditation preparation and marketing that can translate technical delivery into sector-specific proof.
Why and how to sell to them
Commercial intent often appears when an integrator wins a larger customer, opens a new delivery pod, hires senior sales or delivery leadership, adds managed-service capability, or moves from founder-led delivery into account management. Pain points tend to be operational rather than abstract: billable time leaking through poor scoping, project margins hidden until late, security questionnaires slowing bids, and support obligations stretching teams after go-live. Outbound messages usually land better when they connect to delivery governance, utilisation, audit evidence, faster proposal response or cleaner handover from project to support. Generic efficiency claims are less useful than showing how the offer fits a consulting-and-retainer operating model.
How this list is built
Data sources
This list is built from UK Companies House filings, XBRL accounts data, and semantic analysis of each company's public website. Revenue and headcount figures come from the most recent filed accounts; where the company has not filed, values are estimated using a model trained on filed history and peer benchmarks and are labelled as estimates.
Classification
Rather than relying solely on SIC codes, Firmbase classifies each company semantically: the company's website is crawled, an AI model reads what the company actually sells, and the company is placed into the relevant industry and subsectors. SIC codes are used as one signal but not the only one. This means a company that registered under a generic SIC code but pivoted into (for example) fintech is correctly identified as fintech, not as its original SIC category.
Freshness
The underlying company data is refreshed from Companies House continuously; filings appear in the list within days of submission. The curated list ordering is regenerated when the underlying data moves meaningfully (company count changes by more than 5%, a new company enters the top-ranked segment, or the filed-revenue numbers for the top firms change). You can see the last-updated timestamp near the top of the page.
