Endpoint Security Companies in London: 100+ Active Firms (2026)
Endpoint security companies protect laptops, servers and mobile devices from malware, intrusion and data loss for organisations across London.
Buying centres usually sit with security operations, infrastructure and risk teams, with finance and procurement brought in once monitoring, incident response or managed-service cover becomes recurring spend. London suppliers tend to sell to mid-market and enterprise buyers rather than consumers, often where regulated operations, distributed workforces and contractor-heavy device estates make internal coverage difficult. Engagements range from advisory assessments and endpoint hardening projects to ongoing monitoring, response retainers and software subscriptions. The better-fit providers usually show measurable UK operations, specialist technical teams and the ability to work with security-sensitive customers that need evidence, escalation processes and account management rather than generic device support.
London has 117 actively trading endpoint security firms in this cohort, making it a compact but visible cybersecurity sub-sector rather than a broad software category. Reported headcount totals 1,296 people, which points to a labour footprint concentrated in specialist technical, monitoring and response roles. Scale is uneven: 6 firms report turnover above £5M, while 11 were incorporated since 2022, leaving a market with both established service providers and newer commercial entrants.
Device protection work sits close to cyber insurance, privacy governance and outsourced IT, so procurement tends to test more than detection capability. Buyers usually ask about monitoring cover, incident escalation, data-handling controls and audit evidence, especially when suppliers support regulated and security-sensitive sectors from London. Managed service providers also face a market-structure issue: they may be judged both as security advisers and as operational processors of customer telemetry. That role pushes contracts towards clearer responsibilities for containment, forensic access, customer notification and the treatment of logs that may include sensitive employee or client information.
Buyer behaviour appears to favour suppliers that connect endpoint telemetry with identity, cloud and response workflows, rather than treating device protection as a standalone control. Many London firms still look like specialist service businesses rather than scaled software vendors, so differentiation tends to come from analyst expertise, response discipline and sector knowledge. Consolidation may remain a feature where smaller consultancies need broader monitoring cover or access to enterprise procurement channels. The more resilient models are likely to be those that can prove operational reliability without overextending into every adjacent cybersecurity category.

Key facts
About 5% of the trading cohort reports turnover above £5M (6 of 117 firms) — the rest sits below that revenue band.
9% of the cohort was incorporated since 2022 (11 firms), so a sizeable share is in its first few filing cycles.
Endpoint security in London covers device protection across laptops, servers and mobile devices, with buyers often concerned about malware, intrusion and data loss.
Compromised endpoints can give attackers a route into corporate systems, so buying decisions tend to sit close to security operations and IT risk teams.
The London market mixes product, managed-service and project-led models under the same endpoint-security label.

How London endpoint security companies work and how to sell to them
What they do
Revenue usually comes from a mix of licence fees, subscription pricing and service retainers. Software-led firms tend to charge by endpoint, user, server or protected environment, while service-led firms price around monitoring cover, incident response access and onboarding work. Project revenue often starts with device discovery, hardening, policy design or breach-readiness assessment, then converts into recurring monitoring where the buyer wants external capacity. The product shape is part agent, part management console, part analyst workflow; the commercial model depends on how much human response is bundled with the technology.
Who they sell to
Buyers are usually CISOs, Heads of IT, security operations managers, infrastructure leaders and risk owners, with finance and procurement joining once the service becomes a recurring control. Most London endpoint security firms sell direct to mid-market and enterprise organisations, particularly those with regulated operations, dispersed staff or contractor-heavy device estates. Sales cycles tend to involve technical evaluation, security questionnaires and a pilot or assessment before a wider roll-out. Larger buyers may use RFPs or procurement frameworks, while smaller customers are more likely to buy through a consultative direct-sales process.
What they buy
Most endpoint security firms tend to spend on cloud hosting, telemetry storage, log management, case management, ticketing, usage analytics, billing and customer support systems. They also buy security testing, identity tooling, internal device management, compliance support, insurance, legal review and accounting services. Service-heavy providers need recruitment support for analysts, incident responders and customer-facing technical staff, as hiring directly affects delivery capacity. Firms with recurring contracts also need finance and revenue operations tools that handle renewals, usage-based pricing, multi-entity billing and customer evidence packs without adding manual work to technical teams.
Why and how to sell to them
Buying triggers often appear when endpoint security firms win larger customers, move from project work into recurring monitoring, add analyst headcount or face tougher procurement checks from security-sensitive buyers. Common pain points include alert volume, customer onboarding, evidence collection, margin pressure and the need to prove response processes during audits or renewal discussions. Outbound messaging is usually better anchored in operational friction than fear-led cyber claims. Sellers tend to get further by showing how they reduce analyst workload, shorten procurement cycles, improve renewal evidence or help service teams deliver consistent response cover.
How this list is built
Data sources
This list is built from UK Companies House filings, XBRL accounts data, and semantic analysis of each company's public website. Revenue and headcount figures come from the most recent filed accounts; where the company has not filed, values are estimated using a model trained on filed history and peer benchmarks and are labelled as estimates.
Classification
Rather than relying solely on SIC codes, Firmbase classifies each company semantically: the company's website is crawled, an AI model reads what the company actually sells, and the company is placed into the relevant industry and subsectors. SIC codes are used as one signal but not the only one. This means a company that registered under a generic SIC code but pivoted into (for example) fintech is correctly identified as fintech, not as its original SIC category.
Freshness
The underlying company data is refreshed from Companies House continuously; filings appear in the list within days of submission. The curated list ordering is regenerated when the underlying data moves meaningfully (company count changes by more than 5%, a new company enters the top-ranked segment, or the filed-revenue numbers for the top firms change). You can see the last-updated timestamp near the top of the page.
